Territory Sales Representative

Due to the continued increase in our weekly dealer-only auto auction, Value Auto Auction is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to manage a select group of existing accounts of new and used automobile dealerships consigning vehicles to our auction. The position is responsible for providing exceptional customer care and customer service on behalf of the auction and its clients.

Primary Duties, Responsibilities, and Qualifications:

 Consistent contact and professionalism with the select group of automobile dealerships

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively

Understanding of the wholesale auto business

Efficiently working with tight schedules

High energy, mature, credible, reliable, and ability to be flexible

Self-driven, results oriented, and a clear focus

Natural ability to be useful

Sales development skills and experience

Flexible to daily travel

Self monitoring of the day-to-day routines and travel requirements

Foster effective teamwork among your co-workers and the auction

Ensure that all work is professional and compliant with auction procedures and policies

Ability to work with others at the auto auction for exceptional results

Establish and maintain good working relationships and collaborative arrangements among your auto   dealers, the auction, and respective co-workers and employees

Proficiency in use of computers for: Word processing, financial management, e-mail, and Internet

Adaptability-versatile/tolerant in a changing market and work environment

Ethical-ethical behavior and business practices


Focus on client and auctions needs and results

Positively influence others to achieve desired auction results

Ability to make decisions and solve problems or issues as they arise

Think strategically by assessing client-auction relationship, results, and profitability

Prior or current sales experience and/or management experience in a sales environment
