Value Auto Auction’s History
Value Auto Auction, LLC was established in 2004 by Robert Fahey and Christopher Fahey on the premise all dealerships should be treated equally. This concept has caused the auction to substantially grow. We have a dedicated wash and detailing facility, expanded our staging area to 3 times its original size, and have integrated a fully functional online auction for our dealers’ convenience.
Unlike the larger city auctions we have never charged "registration" or "no sale" fees. Our service and dedication have earned the loyalty and respect of hundreds of active dealerships. We have not and will not ever grow too large to take care of all car dealers large and small alike.
Value Auto Auction was started in the small town of Crooksville, Ohio and has thrived due to its’ ideal location in the scenic southeastern part of Ohio. In the ever-changing auto auction business, Value Auto Auction continues to improve and enhance the buyer and seller experience with their weekly auto auction known as “The Thursday Sale”; the real dealer's auction. The Thursday Sale begins at 10:00am with financial institution's repossessions and continues averaging over 600+ units available on a weekly basis; typically 65% from new car dealer trades.
Situated on 32-acres just south of Zanesville, Ohio near Crooksville, the Thursday Sale began in 2004 with one lane and 70 units, and has grown to 6 lanes averaging over 600 units re-marketed per sale, making Value Auto Auction the fastest growing weekly auction in the Midwest.
Over the past 17 years, owners Bob and Chris Fahey have continued to improve and enhance the Thursday Sale by expanding the lot to accommodate 1200 units, constructed a full service Reconditioning and Detail Center, completed a 1/2 mile blacktop test track, and added a Simulcast lane. Additionally, Value Auto Auction has storage capabilities complete with guard gate, secure fencing, and plenty of security cameras for clients requiring additional time for pickup, delivery, or preparing units for re-marketing.
Value Auto Auction also provides Transportation Services for any size automobile dealer and/or financial institution looking to purchase or re-market a variety of units through the weekly Thursday Sale.
